On 22 March 2021, Seed Capital Limited was officially incorporated in the Hong Kong SAR, and successfully obtained license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on November 4 of the same year to engage in Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities in Hong Kong. (CE Number: BRI755 )

On December 11, 2021, the Hong Kong headquarters of Seed Capital was officially opened. Representatives of the Hong Kong government’s Invest Hong Kong, partner private banks, partner institutions and clients were invited to the ceremony. Participants communicated with each other and deepened relationships to lay a solid foundation for the growth of Seed Capital. Invest Hong Kong also featured an article reporting the news of the official opening.

From February 2022 to the present, members of the Seed Capital relationship manager team and investment advisory team have been invited by different media, including on.cc (Oriental News), Sing Tao Daily, Economic Daily, Capital Magazine, etc., for interviews, as guests of online investment live broadcast programs, and featuring in newspaper columns.

In June 2022 and March 2023, Seed Capital, with tremendous efforts paid, grew and became one of the few independent asset management companies invited by the government’s Invest Hong Kong to conduct case studies to gain an in-depth understanding of the concept and latest business situation of Seed Capital. The two case study projects were published on the official website of Invest Hong Kong.

In January 2023, Seed Capital worked with Australian real estate developers to provide customers with real estate investment opportunities in prime locations in Melbourne to meet clients' needs for diversified alternative investments.

On the occasion of the nearly 3-year anniversary of the establishment of Seed Capital, we were invited by Bank of Singapore (a Singaporean private bank wholly-owned by OCBC) to participate in the inaugural Global FIM Conference in Phuket, Thailand, as one of the few independent asset management company representatives from Hong Kong.

Seeds Capital is glad to be awarded the Outstanding Innovation Award from the Hong Kong Australia Business Association (Queensland Chapter), participated in the Innovation and Tech Show business exhibition in Brisbane, Australia, and was invited to private banquet and exchanged with senior officials and outstanding businessmen from Australia and Hong Kong.

The team of Seeds Capital colleagues went to Singapore to visit the headquarters of Bank of Singapore to learn about information on the latest account opening and compliance requirements for offshore private bank accounts in Singapore, and the latest market conditions and investment products.
